Just thought I'd ask but what is you usual preparation schedule the moment you hear that you're going to be seeing your s/o? Either they come to you or you go to them.

Well, before Jimmy deployed I would usually always know when the next time I'd see him was or at least have an idea of it. But, often his duty section got changed and so I'd think I'd be seeing him one weekend, only for him to have duty that weekend & it to get put off. Which is the worst.
I didn't really have much of a routine beforehand though, except the morning that I left to go see him I'd get in my car & drive like hell lol.

Haha.
My routine is basically clean, clean, clean. I've been cleaning non-stop for well over a week now and my room is near spotless. Also went out and bought everything. I probably should have stated in the title more how you prepare for your partner coming. I'll change that just now.

Jimmy was only able to come down here to see me a couple times (way easier for me to go see him & it gave us more time together), but when he did I definitely did the cleaning thing. Cleaning was a leaving routine for me when I'd see him. He'd go to work on Monday morning & before I left I'd clean up his room for him.
